2011: Selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 38th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft ... named Horizon League Pitcher of the Year and First-Team All-Horizon League ... named to Capital One Academic All-District baseball Team and Horizon Academic All-League baseball team for the second-straight season ... earned the men's Panther Senior Athlete Award, given to the senior who has the best combined academic, athletic and community excellence ... put together impressive totals that all ranked among the league leaders in 2011 ... finished 6-4 with a 3.21 ERA, striking out 82 batters in 101.0 innings of work while allowing opponents to bat just .236 on the year ... his 15 starts were second-most in program history ... innings pitched and strikeouts total were both third-best all-time and ERA by a starter was fourth ... ranked third in the league in ERA, victories, strikeouts and innings pitched ... was unbeaten in league play, posting a 5-0 mark in eight starts, which included a pair of nine-inning no-decisions ... against league foes, he struck out 49 batters in 60.1 innings, giving up just 50 hits with an ERA of 2.39 ... in just two seasons at UWM, finishes career ranked second in program history in ERA at 3.62 (minimum 100 IP), sixth with 146 strikeouts and ninth in victories ... Prior to UWM: A transfer from the University of Arkansas who had to sit out the 2009 season due to NCAA regulations ... appeared in 13 games in his two seasons at Arkansas, going 1-0 with 12 strikeouts in 13.2 innings of work while earning SEC All-Academic honors both years ... saw action on the mound only at Arkansas; will also catch at Milwaukee, his position in high school.

High School: Enjoyed a stellar high school career where he was named the No. 5 pro prospect in the state of Wisconsin by Baseball America ... earned Wisconsin Coaches Association All-State, all-district and Fox Valley Athletics All-Conference honors three times ... batted .362 as a senior with three doubles, a home run and 11 runs batted in while earning District 4 Player of the Year honors ... also posted a 7-3 record on the mound with a 1.89 ERA, two saves and 58 strikeouts in 44.1 innings ... batted .322 and went 7-2 with a 1.03 ERA as a junior en route to his first district player of the year award ... that followed a sophomore campaign that saw him post a .542 average ... a Wisconsin Scholar-Athlete.
