Video: Women's Basketball Kicks Off Summer Practice Schedule

Panthers have earned postseason berths each of last three years

MILWAUKEE - Although it's still early summer, the Milwaukee women's basketball team has been back on the court for over a week working toward its goals for the upcoming season.

The Panthers - who won 20-plus games each of the last two seasons - officially kicked off their summer workouts last week.

Last year was another memorable one for Milwaukee as the Panthers earned an at-large bid to the WNIT, winning a postseason game for the second-straight year. Things will look a little different next year though, as UWM graduated four seniors that combined to make up the winningest class in program history.

The Black & Gold Network stopped by Milwaukee's first practice of the summer and caught up with head coach Kyle Rechlicz.
