MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee men's basketball team continues summer workouts this week.
The Black & Gold Network stopped by and caught up with newcomer
Te'Jon Lucas.
Lucas joins the program following two seasons at Illinois. He will sit out the 2018-19 campaign due to transfer regulations but have two seasons of eligibility remaining. Last season, he averaged 5.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 29 games, making 19 starts.
Lucas is a familiar name in the Milwaukee basketball landscape. He attended Milwaukee Washington High School, earning unanimous Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association First-Team D2 All-State honors as a senior after he averaged 20.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 2.8 steals per game.
