MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Athletic Department held its annual student-athlete award show – The Golden Panthers –Thursday evening inside the Union Ballroom on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus.
The event, which was hosted this year by student-athletes
Garrett Miller and
Alex Sayles, is an annual gathering to recognize accomplishments from the past year.
Organized by the Milwaukee Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the awards recognized exceptional performance in the classroom, in the community and on the field of competition.
Kyle Becker (men's track & field) and
Leah Holmes (women's track & field/cross country) were named Senior Student-Athletes of the Year.
