Women’s Basketball Hosts Annual Postseason Banquet

Team awards handed out

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee women's basketball team held its annual team banquet to celebrate the 2017-18 season this past weekend.

The Panthers were able to look back on yet another outstanding season, with this year's squad earning an at-large berth to the WNIT, advancing to the second round before falling to eventual champion Indiana.

The team awards were handed out and the program commemorated the careers of four outstanding seniors – Kelsey Cunningham, Bailey Farley, Steph Kostowicz & Jenny Lindner – who graduate as the winningest class in program history with 72 wins over their four-year careers.

This year's Panther squad finished with a 21-12 overall record, giving the team back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in Division I history.
