Horizon League Men's Title Game to air on ESPN

Press release courtesy of Horizon League

INDIANAPOLIS — The Horizon League and ESPN have announced that the men's championship game of the 2018 Little Caesars Horizon League Basketball Championships will air live on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 6 from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. A long-standing television partner, ESPN's family of networks will air all 18 games of Motor City Madness.

This year's event, the third annual Motor City Madness, will feature all 20 of the Horizon League's men's and women's basketball programs, with the winners of each respective championship securing a bid to the NCAA Tournament. Last year's tournament marked the first time since 1992 that the league's men's and women's championships were played in tandem.

The championships will take place from March 2-6 and will be played inside the brand new Little Caesars Arena — a state-of-the-art facility opened in September of 2017 and the home of the Detroit Pistons and Detroit Red Wings. School fan section tickets are available for purchase until March 1 at 10 am ET by clicking here. Afterwards, tickets are available for purchase through the general public ticket link here.

Additionally, fans can "Be Part of the Madness" through various ancillary events taking place in Detroit surrounding Motor City Madness. To learn more, click here.
