Basketball Broadcast Agreements And Talent Announced

Men’s team again on WISN this season

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Athletic Department has announced today a new partnership with iHeart Media, starting with the upcoming 2017-18 basketball campaign.

The men's team will again have all games available on an over-the-air broadcast, with the Panthers returning to WISN 1130 AM.

The multi-year agreement was announced today by Director of Athletics Amanda Braun.

"We are once again very happy to announce an extended partnership with iHeart Media," Braun said. "We have a great working relationship with them over the years and feel the familiarity of the station is not only a great fit for the department, but for fans of Panther Athletics as well."

Play-by-play duties for the men again fall to Scott Warras, who made his debut on the men's side last season following a 10-year stretch as the voice of the UWM women.

The women's side is again in the hands of Matt Menzl, who began his duties with the Panthers last year.

All women's games the entire season will be available on the Black & Gold Radio Network, which is a live audio stream in conjunction with www.mixlr.com. Fans just need an internet connection to follow along all season long without any fees. Fans can also download the app on their mobile devices.

The Milwaukee women's program is one of just three in the 10-member Horizon League to offer dedicated audio broadcasts of every game over the course of the season.

In addition, coach's shows with both Pat Baldwin and Kyle Rechlicz are set to return on WISN. Dates and times will be announced closer to the start of the season.
