MILWAUKEE - The Banner Boys officially open play in The Basketball Tournament Saturday, July 15, when games in the Midwest Region get underway at Renaissance Coliseum in Peoria, Ill.
 
As the No. 7 seed in the region, the Banner Boys will be taking on No. 10 Jackson (TN) Underdawgs at 12:30 p.m. CST tomorrow.

Round two follows immediately on July 16 and all Midwest matchups are played at Bradley University. All games will be shown on ESPN3 with Saturday's winner moving on to play the winner of the #2 OSU/#15 The Region matchup.

According to a release on Bradley's website, the Midwest Regional will include a total of 12 games July 15 (eight games) and July 16 (four) at Renaissance Coliseum as the 16 teams in the region play down to four that will advance to the Super 16 July 20-23 at LIU Brooklyn. The four-team semifinals and championship will be played Aug. 1 and 3 in Baltimore.

Team General Manager Ed McCants held an Open Media Day and kid's clinic July 8 & 9, with the team also getting together for practice sessions at that time.
