Ed McCants and his group of Milwaukee Panther basketball alumni are not only playing to represent their school, they are also playing for a greater cause. The team has announced it will donate $200,000 to help combat the heroin epidemic should they win.

Over the course of the rest of the month of May we will look at the roster that has been assembled. Up next is Jordan Aaron.

Aaron played two seasons at Southeastern Community College in Iowa before becoming a Panther, making an immediate impact in his first season (2012-13). As a junior, he averaged 14.4 points and 4 assists per game on his way to Horizon League All-Newcomer Team honors. He led the team in scoring as a senior, netting 14.7 points per contest while earning Second Team All-Horizon League accolades. He had a Horizon League Tournament run for the ages, named Tournament MVP after leading the Panthers to the championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance after averaging 20.5 points in the four postseason outings. Included in that span was a 28-point/5-rebound effort that helped UWM upset top-seeded Green Bay in the semifinals.
