Ed McCants and his group of Milwaukee Panther basketball alumni are not only playing to represent their school, they are also playing for a greater cause. The team has announced it will donate $200,000 to help combat the heroin epidemic should they win.

Over the course of the rest of the month of May we will look at the roster that has been assembled. Up next is Boo Davis.

Davis played for the Panthers during two very memorable seasons. After playing two years at Olney Community College in Illinois, Davis missed the 2004-04 season at UWM with a knee injury.

He made an immediate impact during his junior campaign, helping lead the Panthers to the "Sweet 16" of the NCAA Tournament after starting 29 of the 32 games, averaging 10.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. A Preseason All-Horizon League Second-Team honoree as a senior, he made good on that selection by averaging 16.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game over the course of the 22-9 season (starting all 31 games) that included a win in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. One of the best dunkers that UWM has seen, Davis scored 832 points in just two seasons, making almost 150 career three-pointers as well.
