MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee men's basketball program held its annual "Senior Salute" event earlier this week at the North Shore Country Club.
Â
In addition to the opportunity for Panther fans to offer thanks to graduating seniors
Cody Wichmann,
Dan Studer and
Cameron Harvey for their contributions to the program, the team also handed out awards for the season, which wrapped up in March with a thrilling run to the Horizon League Tournament Championship game.
Â
Scott Warras, the radio voice of the Panthers and emcee for the night, had a chance to chat with head coach
LaVall Jordan. See that video

Highlighting the way was the unveiling of the Most Valuable Player Award, which is now named in honor of Clay Tucker. Tucker (1999-2003 at UWM) finished his career as the leading scorer in program history with 1,788 points and still holds career records for field goals made and attempted, three-pointers made and attempted as well as steals. Tucker repeated as a first-team honoree as a senior after scoring 18.3 points per game his final season, leading UWM to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2003.
Â
That honor went to
Brock Stull, who led the team in scoring (13.5 ppg) and rebounding (6.6 rpg) as a sophomore this season. He started all 35 games, shooting 44.4 percent from the floor, 39.3 percent from three-point range and 80.7 percent from the line. Named to the All-Tournament Team at Motor City Madness, he also became the first sophomore to ever score at least 30 points in a game in Milwaukee's NCAA Division I history when he netted 30 against UIC in February.
