With both the men's and women's basketball teams advancing to the semifinals of Motor City Madness, the Milwaukee Athletic Department wants to keep fans in Detroit and back in Milwaukee aware of activities around the games set to be played Monday.
 
Men's, Women's Basketball Set For Horizon League Semifinals Monday
The Panther men's and women's basketball teams will each play Monday in the semifinals of the Horizon League Tournament. The women will face Green Bay at 12 p.m. CST while the men square off against UIC at 8:30 p.m. CST. This year's Horizon League Tournament is taking place at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Mich.
 
Fans can watch the women's game on ESPN3. On campus, the game will be shown in the Student Union at both the Gasthaus and the Panther Connection as well as at Flicks in Sandburg Hall. The men's game airs live on ESPNU and can be viewed on campus in the Gasthaus, Panther Connection and Sandburg Flicks.
 
The watch party at the Gasthaus for the men's game will begin at 7:45 p.m. CST. Giveaways are available for the first 50 fans in attendance and complimentary appetizers will be served. Meanwhile, Flicks is only open to University Housing residents and registered guests.
 
See The Games In Person
Fans interested in traveling to Detroit to see any of the tournament action in person can purchase tickets at the Joe Louis Arena Box Office prior to the game. Fans in Detroit are invited to visit The Legends Club on the fourth floor of the Joe Louis Arena for a fan reception from 7:30-9:30 p.m. EST Monday. The event will feature complimentary appetizers and a cash bar.
 
If the Panther men would advance to Tuesday's championship game, there will be a bus available providing complimentary transportation to Detroit. It would leave Tuesday morning and return to Milwaukee immediately following the game. Click here for more information and to sign up.
