Kostowicz Named To WBI All-Tournament Team

Franklin native posted three-straight double-doubles in postseason

MILWAUKEE – Steph Kostowicz of the Milwaukee women's basketball team has been named to the WBI All-Tournament Team.

Kostowicz posted double-doubles in all three games, helping the Panthers to the WBI semifinals.

The junior started things off with 16 points and 12 rebounds in just 25 minutes as Milwaukee breezed past Southern Illinois to open the tournament with the Panthers' first ever postseason win.

She then followed that up with an even more efficient effort of 15 points and 11 rebounds in just 20 minutes in a road win at Saint Francis.

Kostowicz did what she could in the tournament semifinal at UNCG, notching 15 points and a season-high 14 rebounds in Greensboro.

In all, the Franklin native tallied 46 points, 37 rebounds, five assists, five steals and three blocks in three postseason games.
