MILWAUKEE - One of the storylines of the men's basketball season has been the emergence of
Brett Prahl throughout his junior campaign. He recently joined the Black & Gold Network, along with his position coach
Omar Lowery, to talk about the 2016-17 season.
Prahl has seized the opportunity he has gotten with increased playing time this year. Coming into the campaign, he had per-game averages of 1.8 points and 1.0 rebounds per game (while averaging 6.2 minutes played). So far this season, he checks in at 6.3 ppg and 3.3 rpg (in 18.1 mpg), which he has upped to 8.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per contest since Horizon League play has opened, setting career-highs across the boards.

Included is a career-high 18 points, making 90 percent (9-of-10) of his field goal attempts in the win over Youngstown State Jan. 22. Currently shooting 65.6 percent through 26 games, he is on pace to break the school record for field-goal percentage in a single season.
