MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Athletic Department is inviting University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee students to become a part of the action for men's and women's basketball games for the upcoming 2017-18 season.
 
Any student on campus is being asked to make a difference at UWM and become part of the exclusive advisory group to the Panther Pit Student Section.
 
As part of "Panther Pit 56", students will receive exclusive team items, receive opportunities for away games and postseason trips as well as invitations to exclusive events. All that is needed will be attendance at games and sharing of feedback.
 
The informational session is scheduled for October 19 at 4:30 p.m. in the Klotsche Center Athletics Classroom. Pizza will be provided for all who attend.
