Video: Bryce Nze Making An Impact As a Freshman

Newcomers have played a key role so far

MILWAUKEE - Bryce Nze is among four freshmen who have played in all 16 games so far this season for the Milwaukee men's basketball team. He is currently averaging 6.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, and is on pace for one of the best seasons from the field in program history, currently shooting 62.9 percent from the floor (the school record is 61.0) in his first season with the Panthers.

Nze became the first freshman to record a double-double since January of 2009, recording 15 points and 11 rebounds against Montana Dec. 3 earlier this season. The Black & Gold Network sat down with Nze and his position coach - Omar Lowery - to get the background on Nze's quick adjustment to the college level.
