Women's Basketball Visits Local Grade Schoolers

Panthers help out with JA Biztown

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee women's basketball team spent part of its day earlier this week helping out local grade schoolers.

The Panthers took part in the "Junior Achievement BizTown", which combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to a simulated town. The popular program allows elementary school students to operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks and vote for mayor. The program allows students to transition what they learn in the classroom into real-world experiences.
