MILWAUKEE (May 20, 2016) – Milwaukee men's basketball coach
LaVall Jordan announced today that
Zac Saddler (New Braunfels, Texas/New Braunfels),
Jeremiah Bell (Louisville, Ky./Boyle County/Vincennes) and
Cameron Harvey (Naperville, Ill./Wheaton Academy/Stetson) and will join the Panthers' program for the 2016-17 season.
Saddler will have four years of eligibility with the Panthers, while Bell will have three seasons of eligibility remaining. Harvey is a graduate transfer from Stetson University and will be eligible immediately.
A versatile swingman, who at 6-foot-6, has exceptional length, Saddler averaged 14.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game at New Braunfels High School in 2015-16, while helping the Unicorns to a 26-11 record.
Zac Saddler (G/F, 6-6, New Braunfels, Texas/New Braunfels)
As a senior at New Braunfels High School, led the Unicorns to a 26-11 overall record by averaging 14.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game … Knocked down 44.9 percent (157-for-349) of his field goal attempts and 74.6 percent (156-for-209) of his free throw tries in 2015-16 … Named academic all-district and academic all-state … Participated in the Hill Country All-Star Game and the San Antonio Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game … Collected first team all-district recognition … Scored over 1,000 points in his prep career and graduated as New Braunfels High School's career leader in blocks (89) and rebounds … During his junior campaign, recorded 20.4 ppg, 6.2 rpg and 2.8 apg and garnered first team all-district and all-region honors.

A natural leader, Bell has the ability to score and distribute the basketball. During his only season at Vincennes University in 2015-16, the 6-foot guard put up 14.3 points and 4.2 assists per game as the Trailblazers went 26-8 overall.

Playing at Vincennes University in 2015-16, helped the Trailblazers to a 26-8 overall record … Averaged team bests of 14.3 points and 4.2 assists per game to go with 3.2 rebounds per contest … Connected on 39.4 percent (67-for-170) of his attempts from beyond the arc and 76 percent (130-for-171) of his charity tosses … Dropped in a season-high 35 points in a victory over John A. Logan on Dec. 12, 2015 … As a senior at Boyle County High School, put up 21.2 ppg and 6.4 rpg … Earned all-area accolades and helped the Rebels to a school-record 28 wins in 2014-15 … Led the program to its first-ever appearance in the state tournament semifinals.

An experienced guard, who possesses tremendous athleticism and strength, Harvey comes to Milwaukee after playing the last two seasons at Stetson University. Last season, he knocked down shots at a 36.3 percent clip from beyond the arc, while starting all 34 games for the Hatters.
Cameron Harvey (G, 6-3, Naperville, Ill./Wheaton Academy/Stetson)
Played the last two seasons at Stetson University and in 2015-16, averaged 5.9 points and 1.3 rebounds per game, while shooting 36.3 percent (41-for-113) from three-point range … Scored in double figures on nine occasions this season, including a 17-point effort against Richmond … Started all 34 games for the Hatters in 2015-16 … In 2014-15, scored in double digits six times and started 21 contests … Was named Atlantic Sun Conference Newcomer of the Week after going 6-for-6 from beyond the arc en route to a career-best 22 points versus Palm Beach Atlantic … Played the 2012-13 season at Eastern Illinois and saw time in 31 games off the bench … Averaged 16.5 ppg and 3.6 rpg en route to Illinois Basketball Association Fourth Team All-State accolades as a senior at Wheaton Academy.
