Women's Basketball Golf Outing Set For July 29

MILWAUKEE - The 2016 Milwaukee Women's Basketball Golf Classic is set for Friday, July 29, at Fire Ridge Golf Club in Grafton.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with golf set to start at 11:00 a.m. followed by dinner to be served at 4:00 p.m.

This year's event will honor former Panther women's basketball head coach Erika Sander. Sander was the first ever varsity coach for the Milwaukee women's basketball team, coaching the team for five years from 1971 to 1976.

Cost for the outing is $160 for golfer or $600 for a foursome. Non-golfers may attend dinner and the auction for just $40.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available, ranging from $100 to $3,000.
