MILWAUKEE - LaVall Jordan spent his first official day as the head coach of the Milwaukee Panthers Friday, starting with a meet & greet with Athletic Department staff first thing in the morning and concluding with a press conference in front of a full house at the Fireside Lounge in the UWM Union in the evening.

Jordan kept a busy schedule from the moment he walked in the door, starting the morning getting to know new co-workers. From there stops included visits with men's basketball support staff, meetings with the team, photo shoots and interviews.
 
INTERVIEW: FIRST TAKE WITH COACH VAL
 
The day closed with a press conference that was jam-packed with media and supporters, where Coach was joined by numerous members of his family including his wife Destinee and three daughters (Ava, Alanna and Adalynn). A welcome by Chancellor Mark Mone and Director of Athletics Amanda Braun was followed by words from Coach Val and a Q&A with local media.
