MILWAUKEE - The day started early for the Milwaukee men's basketball program, with the annual "Alumni Game" held at noon at UWM Panther Arena.
 
In the end, the "Gold Squad" defeated the "Black Squad" by a final score of 78-75 in a thrilling back-and-forth contest that went to overtime.
 
Allan Hanson highlighted the action, pacing the Gold with a game-high 24 points, including seven made three-pointers. Deion James added 17 points.
 
For the Black Squad, Demetrius Harris and Joah Tucker each led the way with 14 points. Tucker made a layup at the buzzer in regulation to force the overtime session.
