Panthers Dominate Midwest Invite

Team posts 19 season-best times over the weekend

CHICAGO – The Milwaukee swimming and diving teams dominated over the weekend, racking up 15 wins despite limited action at the Midwest Invitational hosted by the University of Chicago.

The Panthers posted 19 season-best times at the two-day meet.

In all, the UWM women came in second out of five teams with 418 points, while the Milwaukee men were fifth with 171 points. Host Chicago won on both sides with over 500 points each.

The duo also swept the 200 backstroke with Sanchez (2:08.58) and Jansen (1:53.90) once again posting season-best times for the convincing wins.
