Milwaukee – The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee announced today a total of 12 basketball games will be televised live on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel during the 2016-17 season. The Panthers broadcast schedule features eight men's games and four women's contests as part of a longtime partnership between Milwaukee and Time Warner Cable SportsChannel.
 
The men's TV schedule commences Wednesday, Nov. 30 when the Panthers host Jacksonville University. Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will also air the Panthers' non-conference road games at Ohio (Dec. 14), Cleveland State (Dec. 31) and Green Bay (Jan. 6).
 
The remainder of the schedule features home games against Western Illinois (Dec. 17), Belmont (Dec. 19), Northern Kentucky (Jan. 12) and Green Bay (Feb. 18).
 
Women's action gets underway early, starting when the Panthers host the Wisconsin Badgers Nov. 22. Other games include home matchups with UIC (Jan. 17) and Valparaiso (Feb. 20) and on the road against Green Bay for the annual in-state rivalry game Jan. 21.
 
Andy Masur and former Panther Justin Lettenberger will once again handle the announcing duties on the men's broadcasts, while Bob Brainerd and former Milwaukee standout Maria Viall team up on the women's telecasts.
 
Milwaukee fans can stay up-to-date on all Milwaukee basketball happenings by tuning in to Panthers Courtside Report, the new monthly coaches show featuring LaVall Jordan and Kyle Rechlicz. The Panthers Courtside Report will premiere Nov. 10 at 6 p.m.  The complete schedule will be announced at a later date.
