MILWAUKEE - Dylan Alderson has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for the Milwaukee Panthers, it was officially announced today by men's basketball head coach
LaVall Jordan.

He will certainly have a positive impact in our locker room. Dylan brings toughness, athleticism and a versatile skill set to the court and has a high ceiling and work ethic to match. We look forward to helping him grow as a player and person during his time at Milwaukee."

Alderson, a 6-foot-5 combo guard with athleticism and a high on-court IQ, is set to begin his senior season at Clarkston High School in Clarkston, Mich., under the guidance of legendary Clarkston head coach Dan Fife.

Alderson will be enrolling in the UWM's College of Health Sciences. He averaged 16.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game as a junior last season. His versatility and work ethic helped him earn Honorable Mention AP All-State honors, with the team capturing league and district titles as well. He finished his junior campaign ranked No. 26 in the
Detroit Free Press Top 100 player list.

The prior season, Alderson averaged 17.4 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists per game as a sophomore at Davison, earning Class A honorable mention from the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan. He helped lead the Cardinals to a 16-7 record in 2014-15, claiming their first district title in 37 years.
