Travel To Detroit To See Milwaukee In Motor City Madness

Travel packages available for both students and alumni/fans

MILWAUKEE (January 15, 2016) – Join Milwaukee alums, students and fans at Motor City Madness in Detroit, March 5-8, to cheer on the Panther men's basketball team in its quest for a NCAA Tournament berth.
 
The winner of the Horizon League Tournament, which will be played at historic Joe Louis Arena, receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.  Milwaukee is off to a great start to the 2015-16 season and at 12-5 overall and 3-1 in the Horizon League, owns victories over Big Ten foes Wisconsin and Minnesota. Led by a veteran cast of players, Milwaukee is poised to make a run at its fifth postseason berth under 11th-year head coach Rob Jeter.
 
Whether you are traveling from Wisconsin or live in Michigan, you can pick and choose to build the unique package that works for you. All purchases include a black and gold swag bag, Panther Bash reception and power-up brunch.
 
Buses will depart and drop off from the Bayshore Park & Ride at the corner of Port Washington Road and Silver Spring in Glendale. Any transportation or ticket purchased through the UWM Alumni Association is non-refundable. No refunds shall be provided should the team not advance in the tournament.
 
Fans can choose from one, two or three-night stays in Detroit starting at $120 a night for hotel if booked by January 25. A special discounted all-session ticket is available for the low cost of $55 if purchased by January 25 and bus trip options begin at $50

UWM students can register by visiting https://events.attend.com/#/register/1383772079/0. Space for UWM students is limited but the first 56 to sign up receive free bus transportation and a free ticket to the games,
