Milwaukee To Have Three Games On ESPN Networks In 2015-16

Panthers to appear on ESPN networks three times as part of League package

MILWAUKEE (September 2, 2015) – Three Milwaukee men's basketball games will appear on the ESPN family of networks as part of the Horizon League's 2015-16 television package it was announced today. The Panthers, who closed out the 2014-15 season as one of the hottest teams in the league, won seven of their final nine contests a year ago.

Milwaukee's first game as part of the Horizon League package to appear on the ESPN family of networks is an intrastate battle with Green Bay at the Resch Center on February 15. That contest will air on either ESPNU (4 p.m. CT) or ESPN3 (7 p.m. CT). The Panthers have claimed two of their last three meetings with the Phoenix in Green Bay.

When Cleveland State pays a visit to UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on February 20, that showdown will air on ESPN3 at 3 p.m. CT. Milwaukee and 2015 Horizon League regular season and tournament champion Valparaiso will battle at Panther Arena February 26. Game time for that contest will be either 6 or 8 p.m. CT and be broadcast live on either ESPN2 or ESPNU. Network and game time for that contest will be announced approximately 2-3 weeks prior to game day.

The remainder of Milwaukee's 2015-16 television package will be announced at a later date.

Head coach Rob Jeter, who enters his 11th season at the helm of the Milwaukee program, welcomes back nine letterwinners from a year ago, including Second Team All-Horizon League forward Matt Tiby.
