Farley Added To Women’s Basketball Roster

Transfer signs with Panthers

MILWAUKEE - Women's basketball head coach Kyle Rechlicz has announced today that Bailey Farley has signed to play basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Farley, a transfer from Loyola University, will have two years of eligibility remaining after sitting out next season due to NCAA transfer rules.

"We are thrilled that Bailey Farley has decided to join our Panther Family," Rechlicz said. "She was one of the best shooters at Loyola and we know she has the capability of doing so much more. Her leadership skills and experience are going to be extremely valuable to us over the next few years. She is passionate about getting better and we, as a staff, are really looking forward to working with her throughout next season to watch her confidence grow and help her become the player we know she can be."

While at Loyola, she stepped up as a freshman, averaging 9.1 points per game as a dangerous three-point shooter. She appeared in 22 games and started 13, sinking a team-best 39 three's on the season. She scored in double-figures on 11 occasions, hitting for a season-high 17 points against Missouri State after missing time midseason due to an injury. She played in 29 games as a sophomore, averaging 2.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.

Originally from Fort Wayne, Ind., Farley played as a prep at Canterbury High School. She averaged 18.7 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game as a junior, helping Canterbury to a 25-3 record and the Indiana Class 1A state title. That was part of three title-winning teams during her four-year high school career.
