Head coach Scott Doffek of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee baseball team has announced this afternoon that the exhibition contest against Aoyama University scheduled for later today has been cancelled. There will be no makeup date.

Due to the heavy rain in the Phoenix area, the grounds crew from Surprise Municipal Stadium has made the decision to cancel the game that was scheduled for a first pitch of 4 p.m. CST today. With no game scheduled, the Panthers will head back to the campus of Grand Canyon University this afternoon for workouts and practice.
