MILWAUKEE (October 7, 2015) – A pair of Milwaukee men's basketball games will be televised live on the American Sports Network (ASN) as part of the Horizon League's package with the network, it was announced today. Those contests will air live in Milwaukee on WCGV-TV (My 24).
 
A total of 10 Horizon League games will be televised live on ASN in 2015-16, beginning with Kent State at Cleveland State Dec. 5. Milwaukee's home games versus Oakland (Jan. 25) and UIC (Feb. 28) are part of the Horizon League's national TV package on ASN.
 
ASN affiliates in or near Horizon League cities include WCGV (Milwaukee), WIVM (Canton) WHNE (Flint), WCWF (Green Bay), WOTH (Cincinnati), Comcast SportsNet Chicago (Chicago), WKEF (Dayton) and WYTV (Youngstown). ASN is operated by Sinclair Broadcast Group.
 
Selected games may receive additional distribution via other local affiliates and/or regional sports networks.
 
Last season, the Panthers split the regular-season series with Oakland with the home team winning each contest. Milwaukee swept a pair of meetings with UIC in 2014-15. The Panthers return nine letterwinners, including Second Team All-Horizon League forward Matt Tiby, from last season's team that won seven of its final nine games.
 
When combined with the Horizon League's ESPN television package, Milwaukee will have at least five games televised live to a national audience in 2015-16.  Games at Green Bay (Feb. 15 – ESPNU or ESPN3 exclusive) versus Cleveland State (Feb. 20 – ESPN3 exclusive) and Valparaiso (Feb. 26 – ESPN2 or ESPNU) are also scheduled for national broadcast.
