Milwaukee To Give Away Demetrius Harris Bobbleheads On February 22

Former Panthers basketball player is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs

MILWAUKEE (January 7, 2015) – The first 1,000 fans through the doors at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball game versus Cleveland State on February 22 will receive a Demetrius Harris bobblehead sponsored by Robert Haack Diamonds and the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. Tip-off at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Harris played two seasons at Milwaukee and as a senior in 2012-13, averaged 9.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, while making 28 starts.  During his first season with the Panthers in 2011-12, he helped the program to a College Basketball Invitational (CBI) appearance.

After spending last season on the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad, Harris made the opening-day, 53-man active roster in 2014 and appeared in eight contests, hauling in three catches for 20 yards before suffering a season-ending foot injury in early November. Harris is the first Panther to play in the National Football League since 1983.
