The Horizon League honor is the first of Green's career and the first for a UWM player since mid-February of last season.
Green was phenomenal in a pair of Milwaukee wins last week, averaging 29.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals on 57 percent shooting from the field.
She posted a near double-double of 31 points and nine rebounds in the win over Valparaiso midweek, giving her a third game of 30-or-more points this season, the first Panther to accomplish that feat since Traci Edwards in 2008-09.
Then, on Saturday, she finished with a double-double of 28 points and 10 boards, sinking the game-tying free throws in the final seconds of regulation before making the game-winner on a putback layup with 5.2 seconds left in overtime to send Milwaukee to the thrilling 64-63 win over UIC.
