MILWAUKEE (November 21, 2014) – Junior forward Austin Arians will redshirt the 2014-15 University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball season it was announced today by head coach Rob Jeter. Arians will return to the court for the 2015-16 season and retain two seasons of eligibility.
 
"We support Austin's decision to redshirt the 2014-15 season and look forward to having him back on the court competing again next season," Jeter said.
 
One of the top shooters in the Horizon League, Arians connected on a team-best 36.7 percent (65-for-177) of his three-point attempts in 2013-14 and contributed 11.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game for a Panthers squad that won 21 games and reached the NCAA Tournament.
 
Milwaukee continues its busy season-opening stretch of games when it travels to Oklahoma State tonight.
