Time Warner Cable SportsChannel To Broadcast 14 Milwaukee Basketball Games In 2014-15

Nine men’s games, five women’s contests on tap this season

MILWAUKEE (November 13, 2014) – Fourteen University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee basketball games will be televised live on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel during the 2014-15 season it was announced today. The schedule features nine men's games and five women's contests.
 
The men's TV schedule opens up November 19 when the Panthers host IUPUI. Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will also air the Panthers' nonconference contest versus UMKC (Dec. 3) and seven Horizon League games are also part of this year's package, including road games at Cleveland State (Jan. 2) and Green Bay (Feb. 5).  
 
The remainder of the schedule features home games versus Youngstown State (Jan. 14), Wright State (Jan. 20), UIC (Jan. 29), Detroit (Jan. 31) and Oakland (Feb. 10).
 
City bragging rights will be on the line when the women's TV schedule begins on November 26 as Milwaukee visits Marquette. Other Time Warner Cable SportsChannel telecasts include both games against Green Bay (Jan. 17 and Feb. 14) and home contests versus Youngstown State (Feb. 19) and the regular-season finale against Detroit (March 4).
 
Milwaukee fans can stay informed about all things Milwaukee basketball by tuning in to "The Rob Jeter Show" and the "The Kyle Rechlicz Show" on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel throughout the season. The Rob Jeter Show hosted by men's basketball radio voice Bill Johnson debuted this week and new episodes will premiere on Dec. 2 and Dec. 16. Starting Jan. 6, it will debut new episodes on Tuesdays at 5 p.m. for the rest of the season.
 
"The Kyle Rechlicz Show," hosted by women's basketball radio announcer Scott Warras, will air on Time Warner SportsChannel immediately prior to each game telecast in 2014-15.
 
Andy Masur will handle the announcing duties on the men's broadcasts while Bob Brainerd and former Panther standout Maria Viall team up on the women's broadcasts.
