MILWAUKEE (October 21, 2014) – Trinson White posted team highs of 20 points and 14 rebounds to power the Gold Team to a 74-64 victory at the annual University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Black and Gold scrimmage this evening at the Klotsche Center. White connected on 10 of 15 shots from the field and was one of four players on the Gold Team to score in double figures.
The Gold Team shot 48.5 percent from the field in the first half to stake claim to a 36-28 halftime lead and it shot 46.6 percent (34-for-73) for the game.
Jevon Lyle, who buried 8 of 12 shots from the field, finished with 19 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals for the Gold Team, which held a 46-34 edge on the boards.
Alex Prahl pitched in 11 points and
Matt Tiby added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Akeem Springs recorded 15 points, 12 boards and four assists to power the Black Team. He received support from
Austin Arians (15 points), and
J.J. Panoske (10 points).
Milwaukee hosts UW-Platteville in exhibition action on November 6 at UWM Panther Arena.
